Having already released the 4DFWD sneaker, the streetwear label is now offering its first 3D printed pair of sunglasses. Produced in conjunction with eyewear company Marcolin, these futuristic sunnies, dubbed the 3D CMPT, are made from a flexible nylon material. They feature a rubberized coating that gives the sunglasses their spiraling design. The frames feature a UV-blocking Adidas Base 7 polycarbonate lens that protects against all weather conditions while also keeping your eyes fatigue-free. adidas adidas There are non-slip contact points on the nose pads and arms, making the 3D CMPT ideal for those who play sport or are active in their everyday life. They also weigh just 20 grams, making them super lightweight and easy to wear. “From the adidas DNA, characterized by an ongoing search for high-performance lines and materials, comes a frame destined to leave its mark on the evolution of eyewear thanks to the most modern technologies,” describes adidas in a press release. The adidas 3D CMPT will be limited to just 150 pairs and only available to members of Adidas’ Creators Club starting on August 23rd. The sunnies retail for a crisp $415.
