Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has a standard bunch of missions that you can complete, but it also features a lot of side attractions. Quests are miniature tasks that you can take on, either requiring the delivery of specific items or completing challenges under specific time limits.
Each of these quests give decent rewards, from upgrades for your unlocked characters to Age of Calamity recipes to cook before any mission. They’re all worth doing at some point and will even unlock facilities like the Blacksmith or any of the Age of Calamity merchants. These will give you more options to upgrade your roster to their full fighting potential.
Since there’s going to be a lot of both quests and challenges to complete, we figured we would just get the ball rolling as soon as we can. We’ll be listing all of the requirements to unlock each quest, the items required to complete quests, level recommendations and character limitations for challenges, and what rewards you can get for completing each task.
Age of Calamity side quests Two types of side quests can appear in Age of Calamity. We’ve separated them into two tables, but the general idea with both is that completing certain missions and quests will unlock new ones, which in turn give you more unlockables for your party.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has a standard bunch of missions that you can complete, but it also features a lot of side attractions. Quests are miniature tasks that you can take on, either requiring the delivery of specific items or completing challenges under specific time limits.
Each of these quests give decent rewards, from upgrades for your unlocked characters to Age of Calamity recipes to cook before any mission. They’re all worth doing at some point and will even unlock facilities like the Blacksmith or any of the Age of Calamity merchants. These will give you more options to upgrade your roster to their full fighting potential.
Since there’s going to be a lot of both quests and challenges to complete, we figured we would just get the ball rolling as soon as we can. We’ll be listing all of the requirements to unlock each quest, the items required to complete quests, level recommendations and character limitations for challenges, and what rewards you can get for completing each task.
Two types of side quests can appear in Age of Calamity. We’ve separated them into two tables, but the general idea with both is that completing certain missions and quests will unlock new ones, which in turn give you more unlockables for your party.

You don’t need to deliver items to begin each quest, but there is a recommended level your characters should be, and you’re limited to certain characters that you can play as.
