Welcome to the Air Jordan 11 Jubilee. Don’t worry about those loose laces; Nike has devised a brilliant way to keep them tight, with inspiration from Marty McFly and his own self-lacing sneakers.  Taking us all Back to the Future, we return not just to the futuristic hope of the classic 80’s trilogy, but the return of Michael Jordan following his first retirement. Once again, putting the whole court of notice, Nike is upping its shoe game once more with a special edition Air Jordan 11, in commemoration of the model’s 25th anniversary. To celebrate such an incredible icon requires some pretty outstanding technology. Updating the 25-year-old design with Nike’s “Adapt” self-lacing tech, wearers can control their shoes via the Nike app on their smartphone.

Connected via Bluetooth, the AJ11 Adapt Sneakers offer incredible customization from flashing lights to changing colors, making them the most personalized Jumpman shoes to date. Sneakerheads will have to wait until December 30 to experience these futuristic shoes, with the Jubilee’s launching on December 12. According to Nike, such a timeless silhouette needs no introduction, but without one, you’d never know how incredible these shoes genuinely are. Created by Tinker Hatfield to redefine sneakers’ limits, Nike threw in a carbon fiber plate for unrivaled performance and a distinctive touch of luxury from its patented leather finish.

Debuted alongside MJ’s return to the league, the Air Jordan 11 Jubilee and Adapt sneakers are a festival of everything great about arguably the greatest basketball player in history. Sorry, James. Sporting a contrasting colorway dressed in black and white shades, the Jubilee sneakers feature a metallic Jumpman logo and a 23 emblem on the heel.  Packed to the brim with sneaker hardware, similar decorations adorn the shoe’s eyelets, which spell out “Jordan” in all his glory. Or if you prefer something a little brighter, the Adapt model features a white colorway, complemented by an icy outsole, black mesh tongue, and matching Adapt laces.  Make sure you keep your eyes peeled on the Nike SNKRS App to make sure you get yourself a pair (or both) when they drop this December.    Check Price
